ViewSonic VP2330wb vs ViewSonic VA1912wb lcd monitor comparison
We liked 23" monitor size on ViewSonic VP2330wb quite better than 19" monitor size at ViewSonic VA1912wb. Graphic professionals might find ViewSonic VP2330wb model with its 1920x1200 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Both TFT monitors are wide (16:10 is aspect ratio). Both of compared monitors have decent pixel response times (8 ms). Only ViewSonic VA1912wb is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic VP2330wb has brightness 250 cd/m2. VP2330wb has good contrast ratio (800:1) but that is not the case with VA1912wb (500:1). Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (170º at VP2330wb and 160º at VA1912wb) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies. Verical angle is 170º on VP2330wb and 160 ºon VA1912wb and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies. Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older graphic cards.
