ViewSonic VP2030b vs ViewSonic VX2235wm tft monitor shopping review

We prefere more 22" screen size on ViewSonic VX2235wm than 20.1" screen size on ViewSonic VP2030b. Graphic professionals might find ViewSonic VX2235wm model with its 1680x1050 maximum screen resulution more preferable.

Both of compared LCD monitors have decent pixel response times.

Picture on VP2030b could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for VX2235wm (280cd/m2) These monitors have good contrast (VP2030b has 1000:1 and VX2235wm has 700:1). These monitors are poot for watching tv programs on them since they have horizontal viewing angle of 170º. Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at ViewSonic VP2030b and 160º at ViewSonic VX2235wm) for watching movies.

These LCD monitors have VGA input for connection to older video cards. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to new video cards.
