ViewSonic VA912b vs ViewSonic VX922 lcd monitor shopping comparison

Both VA912b and VX922 have 19" screen size. On both VA912b and VX922 there is maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024.

Pixel response time on these monitors is 2ms for VX922 and 8ms for VA912b and that means they have good pixel response times.

These TFT monitors cannot provide very bright picture (VX922 has luminance 270cd/m2 and VA912b has 250cd/m2). VX922 has good contrast (650:1) but that is not the case with VA912b (500:1). Horizontal angle is 170º on VX922 and 160 ºon VA912b and those values makes them unsuitable for watching . Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at ViewSonic VX922 and 160º at ViewSonic VA912b) for watching movies.
