ViewSonic VA903b vs ViewSonic VX2235wm tft monitor shopping review

We liked 22" monitor size on ViewSonic VX2235wm significantly better than 19" monitor size at ViewSonic VA903b. With its declared 1680x1050 maximum resolution ViewSonic VX2235wm monitor beats ViewSonic VA903b with 1280x1024.

These TFT monitors have decent response times .

Only ViewSonic VA903b is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic VX2235wm has brightness 280 cd/m2. Contrast ratio on both monitor is 700:1 and that is good value. These monitors are poor for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (VX2235wm has 170º and VA903b has 160º). Vertical viewing angle is poor on both monitors (160º).

DVI input which has ViewSonic VX2235wm is its adventage.
