ViewSonic VA1912wb vs ViewSonic VX924 lcd monitor shopping review
Both VA1912wb and VX924 have 19" screen size. ViewSonic VA1912wb lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1440x900, in contrast to 1280x1024 at ViewSonic VX924. Both monitors have good response times (ViewSonic VX924 has 3ms and ViewSonic VA1912wb has 8ms pixel response time). Only ViewSonic VA1912wb is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic VX924 has brightness 270 cd/m2. These LCD monitors don't have decent constrast ratio. Contrast ratio of ViewSonic VX924 is 550:1 and ViewSonic VA1912wb has 500:1. Horizontal angle is 160º on both and therefore you might feel unconfortable watching movies . Both monitors have poor viewable vertical angle (160º) for watching movies on them. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to new graphic cards. More Information
