ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 vs ViewSonic VA903b tft monitor review
On both models screen size is 19".
Both of compared TFT monitors : ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 and ViewSonic VA903b have the same maximum screen resolution (1280x1024).
Both of compared monitors have decent pixel response times (8 ms).
These monitors have brightness 300cd/m2 and that means they can have very bright picture.
These monitors have good contrast (contrast of 700:1).
These TFT monitors are poor for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (VA903b has 160º and Optiquest Q9b-2 has 150º).
Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (160º at ViewSonic VA903b and 135º at ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2) for watching movies.
These TFT monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input.
It is bad that these monitors cannot be connected to new graphic cards since they don't have DVI.
