ViewSonic VX922 vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 tft monitor shopping reviews

We think 19 inch screen at ViewSonic VX922 is better than 17 inches screen at LCM-17V8. Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors.

These TFT monitors have good response times.

Picture can be really bright only at LCM-17V8 (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at VX922 (luminance is 270 cd/m2). Only ViewSonic VX922 has good contrast (650:1). Westinghouse LCM-17V8 has contrast ratio of 450:1.

Westinghouse LCM-17V8 doesn't have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computers. These TFT monitors have DVI input for connection .
