ViewSonic VX2235wm vs Westinghouse LCM-19V7 lcd monitor comparison

We think that VX2235wm has better screen with its 22" inch size than LCM-19V7 with 19" large screen. With its declared 1680x1050 maximum screen resolution ViewSonic VX2235wm monitor beats Westinghouse LCM-19V7 with its 1280x1024.

Both monitors have good response times (ViewSonic VX2235wm has 5ms and Westinghouse LCM-19V7 has 8ms pixel response time).

Picture on LCM-19V7 could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for VX2235wm (280cd/m2) Contrast ratio is 700:1 on ViewSonic VX2235wm which is good. But Westinghouse LCM-19V7 has contrast ratio only 450:1.

Westinghouse LCM-19V7 doesn't have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computers. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with modern video cards.
