ViewSonic VX2235wm vs Westinghouse LCM-17W7 tft monitor shopping comparison

We think 22 inch screen at ViewSonic VX2235wm is better than 17 inches screen at LCM-17W7. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1680x1050 on VX2235wm might be more preferable than 1280x768 on LCM-17W7.

Both monitors are wide. ViewSonic VX2235wm has aspect ratio 16:10 and Westinghouse LCM-17W7 has 16:9. Decent response time has only ViewSonic VX2235wm with 5ms. Westinghouse LCM-17W7 haven't good pixel response time with its 15ms.

Picture can be really bright only at LCM-17W7 (luminance is 400 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at VX2235wm (luminance is 280 cd/m2). Contrast ratio is good on these tft monitors (VX2235wm has 700:1 and LCM-17W7 has 600:1).

Both monitors have VGA input so you are able connect them to older graphic cards. Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to new graphic cards.
