ViewSonic VX2025WM vs Westinghouse LCM-19V7 lcd monitor shopping review

Screen size at ViewSonic VX2025WM is quite larger with its 20.1" than Westinghouse LCM-19V7 with 19". ViewSonic VX2025WM lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050, in contrast to 1280x1024 at Westinghouse LCM-19V7.

Both of compared monitors have decent pixel response times (8 ms).

Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). Contrast is very good only on ViewSonic VX2025WM (800:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (450:1).

Disadvantage of Westinghouse LCM-19V7 is lack of VGA input for connection to older graphic cards. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern video cards.
