ViewSonic VP2330wb vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 lcd monitor shopping reviews
We liked 23" monitor size on ViewSonic VP2330wb significantly better than 17" monitor size at Westinghouse LCM-17V8. Maximum declared screen resolution on VP2330wb (1920x1200) beats LCM-17V8 (1280x1024). These TFT monitors have decent response times of their pixels (8 ms). Westinghouse LCM-17V8 can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but ViewSonic VP2330wb cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. Contrast ratio is very good only on ViewSonic VP2330wb (800:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (450:1). Since Westinghouse LCM-17V8 doesn't have VGA input, you can not connect it to some older computers. Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to newer graphic cards.
