ViewSonic VG2021M vs Westinghouse LCM-17W7 lcd monitor comparison

We liked 20" monitor on ViewSonic VG2021M quite better than 17" monitor size at Westinghouse LCM-17W7. With its declared 1400x1050 maximum resolution ViewSonic VG2021M monitor beats Westinghouse LCM-17W7 with 1280x768.

ViewSonic VG2021M has good response time of its pixels (8ms), but that is not case with Westinghouse LCM-17W7 since its pixels response time is 15ms.

The picture on this LCD monitors can be very bright since luminance is 400cd/m2 at LCM-17W7 and 300cd/m2 at VG2021M. Contrast ratio is 600:1 on Westinghouse LCM-17W7 which is good. But ViewSonic VG2021M has contrast only 500:1.

Both monitors have VGA input so you are able connect them to older graphic cards. Both monitors have DVI input which allows you to connect them to modern video cards.
