ViewSonic VA1912wb vs Westinghouse LCM-17v2 lcd monitor reviews

We prefere more 19" screen size on ViewSonic VA1912wb than 17" screen size on Westinghouse LCM-17v2. Graphic professionals might find ViewSonic VA1912wb model with its 1440x900 maximum screen resulution more preferable.

You shall not have ghost feeling scrolling on ViewSonic VA1912wb due to its pixel response time of 8ms, but we cannot say the same for Westinghouse LCM-17v2 since its pixel response time is 14ms.

These monitors are able to produce very bright picture (LCM-17v2 has luminance 350cd/m2 and VA1912wb has 300cd/m2). Contrast ratio is quite poor on these TFT monitors (500:1 on VA1912wb and 350:1 on LCM-17v2).

DVI input which has ViewSonic VA1912wb is its adventage. Notable advantages of these TFT monitors are : built in 2.5-watt speakers for Westinghouse LCM-17v2 and for ViewSonic VA1912wb.
