We think that VA1912wb has better screen with 19" inch size than LCM-17V8 with 17" large screen. Maximum declared screen resolution on VA1912wb (1440x900) beats LCM-17V8 (1280x1024). Pixel response time on monitors is 8ms and that means you should not expirience "ghosts" on them. Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). The contrast ratio is poor on these monitors (500:1 on VA1912wb and 450:1 on LCM-17V8). Due to lack of VGA input, you cannot connect Westinghouse LCM-17V8 to older computers.
