ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 tft monitor shopping comparison

ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B's monitor screen with its 19" we like more than 17" screen at Westinghouse LCM-17V8. On both ThinEdge VP930B and LCM-17V8 there is maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024.

Both monitors have standard aspect ratio (4:3) - they aren't wide. Decent response time has only Westinghouse LCM-17V8 with 8ms. ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B haven't good pixel response time with 20ms.

Only Westinghouse LCM-17V8 is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B has brightness 250 cd/m2. ThinEdge VP930B has good contrast (1000:1) but that is not the case with LCM-17V8 (450:1).

Westinghouse LCM-17V8 doesn't have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computers. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to newer graphic cards.
