ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 vs Westinghouse LCM-17v2 lcd monitor reviews

We think 19 inch screen at ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 is better than 17 inches screen size at LCM-17v2. Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1280x1024.

ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 has good response time of pixels (8ms), but that is not case with Westinghouse LCM-17v2 since pixels response time is 14ms.

Picture on both monitors could be very bright (350 cd/m2 at LCM-17v2 and 300cd/m2 at Optiquest Q9b-2). Contrast ratio is very good only on ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 (700:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (350:1).

Disadvantage of both is lack of DVI input for connection to some new video cards. Speciality of these LCD monitors are : built in 2.5-watt speakers for Westinghouse LCM-17v2 and for ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2.
