ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 lcd monitor reviews
We think 19 inch screen at ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 is better than 17 inches screen at LCM-17V8. Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors. Pixel response time on these monitors is 8ms and you should not expirience so called "ghosts" . Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). Optiquest Q9b-2 has good contrast ratio (700:1) but that is not the case with LCM-17V8 (450:1). If you want to be able to connect your monitor to older computers, Westinghouse LCM-17V8 isn't good choice due to lack of VGA input. Westinghouse LCM-17V8 has DVI needed by some newer video cards.
