ViewSonic VP2330wb vs Samsung SyncMaster 971P lcd monitor comparison

We prefere more 23" screen size on ViewSonic VP2330wb than 19" screen size on Samsung SyncMaster 971P. Maximum screen resulution on ViewSonic VP2330wb is 1920x1200, which might prefer graphic experts rather than 1280x1024 on Samsung SyncMaster 971P.

These monitors have good response times.

Both monitors have brightness 250cd/m2 and that isn't very good value so we can say that they cannot have really bright picture. Contrast ratio is 1500:1 on SyncMaster 971P and 800:1 on VP2330wb and that is quite good value for constrast. Horizontal angle is 178º on SyncMaster 971P and 170 ºon VP2330wb and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. These tft monitors are nice for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent vertical viewing angles (SyncMaster 971P has 178º and VP2330wb has 170º).

Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern video cards.
