ViewSonic VP2330wb vs Samsung SyncMaster 203B lcd monitor comparison

We prefere more 23" screen size on ViewSonic VP2330wb than 20" screen size on Samsung SyncMaster 203B. With its declared 1920x1200 maximum screen resolution ViewSonic VP2330wb monitor beats Samsung SyncMaster 203B with its 1400x1050.

These monitors have good response time 8 ms.

Picture can be really bright only at SyncMaster 203B (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at VP2330wb (luminance is 250 cd/m2). Both monitors have very good contrast ratio (VP2330wb has 800:1 and SyncMaster 203B has 600:1). Horizontal viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at ViewSonic VP2330wb and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 203B) for watching movies. These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent vertical viewing angles (VP2330wb has 170º and SyncMaster 203B has 160º).

Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older graphic cards. These TFT monitors have DVI input for connection .
