ViewSonic VP2030b vs Samsung SyncMaster 940BW lcd monitor comparison

We liked 20.1" monitor size on ViewSonic VP2030b quite better than 19" monitor size at Samsung SyncMaster 940BW. ViewSonic VP2030b lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1600x1200) than other lcd monitor(1440x900).

Pixel response time on these monitors is 4ms for SyncMaster 940BW and 8ms for VP2030b and that means they have good pixel response times.

Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). Contrast ratio is very good only on ViewSonic VP2030b (1000:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (500:1). Horizontal angle is 170º on VP2030b and 160 ºon SyncMaster 940BW and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies. Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at ViewSonic VP2030b and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 940BW) for watching movies.

DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with modern video cards.
