ViewSonic VP2030b vs Samsung SyncMaster 204B lcd monitor comparison
Both models have the same 20.1" screen size. Both of compared TFT monitors : ViewSonic VP2030b and Samsung SyncMaster 204B have the same maximum screen resolution (1600x1200). Both TFT monitors have standard (4:3) aspect ratio. Pixel response time on these monitors is 5ms for SyncMaster 204B and 8ms for VP2030b and that means they have good pixel response times. The picture on this TFT monitors can be very bright since brightness is 300cd/m2. Contrast ratio is very good on these tft monitors (VP2030b has 1000:1 and SyncMaster 204B has 800:1). Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (170º at VP2030b and 160º at SyncMaster 204B) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies. These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent vertical viewing angles (VP2030b has 170º and SyncMaster 204B has 160º).
