ViewSonic VG2021M vs Samsung SyncMaster 940BW lcd monitor comparison

We prefere more 20" screen size on ViewSonic VG2021M than 19" screen size on Samsung SyncMaster 940BW. Samsung SyncMaster 940BW lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1440x900) than other lcd monitor(1400x1050).

Pixel response time on these monitors is 4ms for SyncMaster 940BW and 8ms for VG2021M and that means they have good pixel response times.

Both monitors are able to privide very bright picture (300 cd/m2). Contrast ratio is quite poor at these tft monitors (500:1 at each). These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (VG2021M has 170º and SyncMaster 940BW has 160º). These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent vertical viewing angles (SyncMaster 940BW has 160º and VG2021M has 155º).

These lcd monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern video cards.
