ViewSonic VG2021M vs Samsung SyncMaster 731BF lcd monitor comparison

We liked 20" monitor size on ViewSonic VG2021M quite better than 17" monitor size at Samsung SyncMaster 731BF. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1400x1050 on VG2021M might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on SyncMaster 731BF.

These monitors aren't wide - they have aspect ratio 4:3. These monitors have good response times.

With its brightness of 300cd/m2 we can say that these tft monitors can provide very bright picture. Contrast ratio is 2000:1 on Samsung SyncMaster 731BF which is good. But ViewSonic VG2021M has contrast ratio only 500:1.

Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern video cards.
