ViewSonic VG2021M vs Samsung SyncMaster 225BW lcd monitor comparison

Samsung SyncMaster 225BW's monitor screen with its 22" we like more than 20" screen at ViewSonic VG2021M. Samsung SyncMaster 225BW lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050, in contrast to 1400x1050 at ViewSonic VG2021M.

Both of compared TFT monitors have decent pixel response times.

Only ViewSonic VG2021M is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), Samsung SyncMaster 225BW has brightness 280 cd/m2. Contrast ratio is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 225BW (700:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (500:1).

These lcd monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern video cards.
