ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B vs Samsung SyncMaster 731BF lcd monitor comparison

We think that ThinEdge VP930B has better screen with its 19" inch size than SyncMaster 731BF with its 17" large screen. Maximum screen resolution (1280x1024) is same on both TFT monitors.

Both monitors aren't wide, the aspect ratio on both is standard 4:3. 2 has decent pixels response time (2 ms) but that is not the case with ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B since it has 20ms.

Picture on SyncMaster 731BF could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for ThinEdge VP930B (250cd/m2) These monitors have good contrast (SyncMaster 731BF has 2000:1 and ThinEdge VP930B has 1000:1).

Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern video cards.
