ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 vs Samsung 920N lcd monitor comparison
Both Optiquest Q9b-2 and 920N have 19" screen size. Both of compared TFT monitors : ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 and Samsung 920N have the same maximum screen resolution (1280x1024). These TFT monitors have decent response times of their pixels (8 ms). ViewSonic Optiquest Q9b-2 can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but Samsung 920N cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. These monitors have good contrast (contrast ratio of 700:1). Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (160º at 920N and 150º at Optiquest Q9b-2) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies. These tft monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent vertical viewing angles (920N has 160º and Optiquest Q9b-2 has 135º). These lcd monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. It is bad that these monitors cannot be connected to some new graphic cards since they don't have DVI. More Information
