ViewSonic VX924 vs Gateway FDP2185W lcd monitor comparison
We think that FDP2185W has better screen with its 21" inch size than VX924 with its 19" large screen. Maximum declared screen resolution on FDP2185W (1680x1050) beats VX924 (1280x1024). Pixel response time on these monitors is 3ms for VX924 and 8ms for FDP2185W and that means they have good pixel response times. Picture on FDP2185W could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for VX924 (270cd/m2) FDP2185W has good contrast ratio (1000:1) but that is not the case with VX924 (550:1). Both monitors have good viewable horizontal angle (178º at FDP2185W and 160º at VX924) so they are quite confortable for watching movies. Vertical angle is 178º on FDP2185W and 160 ºon VX924 and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with modern video cards.
