ViewSonic VA912b vs Gateway FDP1760 lcd monitor comparison
We like more ViewSonic VA912b 19" inch screen than Gateway FDP1760's 17" size. Both of compared TFT monitors : ViewSonic VA912b and Gateway FDP1760 have the same maximum screen resolution (1280x1024). Aspect ratio on these monitors is 4:3 and that means they aren't wide. These monitors have good response time 8 ms. Since FDP1760 has brightness 270cd/m2 and VA912b has brightness 250cd/m2, therefore we can conclude that these monitors are NOT able to privide very bright picture . Only Gateway FDP1760 has good contrast ratio (600:1). ViewSonic VA912b has contrast ratio of 500:1. These lcd monitors have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computer which don't have DVI input. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern video cards.
