We think that UltraSharp 2407FPW has better screen with its 24" inch size than ThinEdge VP930B with its 19" large screen. With its declared 1920x1200 maximum screen resolution Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW monitor beats ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B with its 1280x1024. You shall not have ghost feeling when scrolling on Dell UltraSharp 2407FPW due to its pixel response time of 6ms, but we cannot say the same for ViewSonic ThinEdge VP930B since its pixel response time is 20ms. Picture can be really bright only at UltraSharp 2407FPW (luminance is 450 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at ThinEdge VP930B (luminance is 250 cd/m2). Contrast ratio on both monitor is 1000:1 and that is good value. Horizontal angle is 178º on UltraSharp 2407FPW and 170 ºon ThinEdge VP930B and those values makes them suitable for watching movies.
