ViewSonic VX924 vs Apple M9178LL/A lcd monitor comparison

We liked 23" monitor size on Apple M9178LL/A quite better than 19" monitor size at ViewSonic VX924. Graphic professionals might find Apple M9178LL/A model with its 1920x1200 maximum screen resulution more preferable.

Since Apple M9178LL/A maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with its 16 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling text on it.

Brightness of these tft monitors is quite poor (270 cd/m2). These tft monitors don't have decent constrast ratio. Contrast ratio of ViewSonic VX924 is 550:1 and Apple M9178LL/A has 400:1. Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (170º at M9178LL/A and 160º at VX924) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies. Vertical viewing angle is bad on both monitors (170º at Apple M9178LL/A and 160º at ViewSonic VX924) for watching movies.

Apple M9178LL/A doesn't have VGA input which you will need to connect them to older computers. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern video cards.
