ViewSonic VX922 vs Acer AL1706AB lcd monitor comparison
ViewSonic VX922's monitor screen with its 19" we like more than 17" screen at Acer AL1706AB.
Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1280x1024.
Pixel response time on these monitors is 2ms for VX922 and 8ms for AL1706AB and that means they have good pixel response times.
Brightness of these tft monitors is quite poor (270 cd/m2).
Contrast ratio is very good only on ViewSonic VX922 (650:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (500:1).
Both monitors have poor viewable horizontal angle (170º at VX922 and 140º at AL1706AB) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies.
Verical angle is 170º on VX922 and 130 ºon AL1706AB and those values makes them unsuitable for watching movies.
ViewSonic VX922 has DVI needed by some new graphic cards.
