These monitors have brightness 300cd/m2 and that means they can have very bright picture. These monitors have good contrast (VP2030b has 1000:1 and AL2216W has 700:1). Horizontal viewing angle is poor on both monitors (170º). Both monitors have poor viewable vertical angle (170º at VP2030b and 160º at AL2216W) so they aren't quite confortable for watching movies.
