Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 vs ViewSonic VX2235wm lcd monitor shopping comparison
We think that PremierPro SDM-P234 has better screen with its 23" inch size than VX2235wm with its 22" large screen. Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 lcd monitor have finer maximum screen resolution(1920x1200) than other lcd monitor(1680x1050). Both monitors have aspect ratio 16:10 and that means they are wide. When scrolling text on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 you might expirience ghosts because pixels response time is 16ms. Picture on both monitors cannot be very bright (280 cd/m2 at VX2235wm and 250cd/m2 at PremierPro SDM-P234). Contrast is very good only on ViewSonic VX2235wm (700:1), the another model has poor contrast (500:1). These LCD monitors are decent for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent horizontal viewing angles (PremierPro SDM-P234 has 176º and VX2235wm has 170º). Vertical angle is 176º on PremierPro SDM-P234 and 160 ºon VX2235wm and those values makes them suitable for watching movies.
