Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 vs ViewSonic VP2030b lcd monitor shopping reviews
We prefere 23 inch wide screen size at model PremierPro SDM-P234 than 20.1 built at model VP2030b. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1920x1200 on PremierPro SDM-P234 might be more preferable than 1600x1200 on VP2030b. When scrolling text on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 you might expirience so called ghosts because pixels response time is 16ms. Only ViewSonic VP2030b is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 has brightness 250 cd/m2. VP2030b has good contrast ratio (1000:1) but that is not the case with PremierPro SDM-P234 (500:1). These LCD monitors are good for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent horizontal viewing angles (PremierPro SDM-P234 has 176º and VP2030b has 170º). Both monitors have good viewable vertical angle (176º at PremierPro SDM-P234 and 170º at VP2030b) so they are confortable for watching movies. Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older video cards. Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to modern graphic cards. More Information
