Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 vs ViewSonic VA903b lcd monitor shopping comparison
We liked 23" monitor size on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 significantly better than 19" monitor size at ViewSonic VA903b. Graphic professionals might find Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 model with its 1920x1200 maximum screen resulution more preferable. Decent response time has only ViewSonic VA903b with 8ms. Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 haven't good pixel response time with 16ms. ViewSonic VA903b can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. Only ViewSonic VA903b has good contrast ratio (700:1). Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 has contrast ratio of 500:1. Horizontal angle is 176º on PremierPro SDM-P234 and 160 ºon VA903b and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. These TFT monitors are nice for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent vertical viewing angles (PremierPro SDM-P234 has 176º and VA903b has 160º). Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 has DVI needed by newer graphic cards. More Information
