Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 vs Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP lcd monitor comparison
We like more Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP 24" inch screen than Sony PremierPro SDM-P234's 23" size. On both PremierPro SDM-P234 and UltraSharp 2407WFP there is maximum screen resolution of 1920x1200. Both monitors are wide since the aspect ratio on both is 16:10. Since Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with its 16 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling text on it. Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP can produce very bright picture (450 cd/m2), but Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. Contrast ratio is 1000:1 on Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP which is good. But Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 has contrast ratio only 500:1. Horizontal angle is 178º on UltraSharp 2407WFP and 176 ºon PremierPro SDM-P234 and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. Both monitors have good viewable vertical angle (178º at UltraSharp 2407WFP and 176º at PremierPro SDM-P234) so they are quite confortable for watching movies. Both monitors have VGA input so you can connect them to older graphic cards. These TFT monitors have DVI input for connection . Only UltraSharp 2407WFP has TV tuner. More Information
