Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 vs Dell UltraSharp 1907FP lcd monitor comparison
We prefere more 23" screen size on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 than 19" screen size on Dell UltraSharp 1907FP. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 is better with its 1920x1200 than Dell UltraSharp 1907FP with 1280x1024. When scrolling text on Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 you might expirience so called ghosts since its pixels response time is 16ms. Dell UltraSharp 1907FP can produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2), but Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 cannot since its brightness is 250 cd/m2. Contrast ratio is very good only on Dell UltraSharp 1907FP (700:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (500:1). These tft monitors are nice for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have decent horizontal viewing angles (PremierPro SDM-P234 has 176º and UltraSharp 1907FP has 140º). Vertical viewing angle is good on both monitors (176º at Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 and 130º at Dell UltraSharp 1907FP) for watching movies.
