Samsung SyncMaster 740N vs Samsung SyncMaster 940MW tft monitor review
We liked 19" monitor on Samsung SyncMaster 940MW quite better than 17" monitor size at Samsung SyncMaster 740N. If you like higher screen resolutions than you might decide that Samsung SyncMaster 940MW is better with its 1440x900 than Samsung SyncMaster 740N with 1280x1024. These TFT monitors have decent response of pixels (8 ms). Picture on both monitors could be very bright (300 cd/m2). Contrast ratio is 700:1 on SyncMaster 940MW and 600:1 on SyncMaster 740N and that is quite good value for contrast. Horizontal angle is 160º on both and therefore you might feel unconfortable watching movies . These LCD monitors are poor for watching tv programs or movies on them since they have vertical viewing angle of 160º. DVI input which has Samsung SyncMaster 940MW is its adventage. Samsung SyncMaster 940MW only has TV tuner. More Information
