Samsung SyncMaster 740N vs Samsung SyncMaster 244T lcd monitor comparison

Samsung SyncMaster 244T have larger screen (24") than Samsung SyncMaster 740N (17"). For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1920x1200 on SyncMaster 244T might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on SyncMaster 740N.

Samsung SyncMaster 740N has good response time of its pixels (8ms), but that is not case with Samsung SyncMaster 244T since its pixels response time is 25ms.

Since SyncMaster 244T has luminance 500cd/m2 and SyncMaster 740N has luminance 300cd/m2, therefore we can conclude that both monitors are able to privide very bright picture . Both monitors have very good contrast ratio (SyncMaster 244T has 1000:1 and SyncMaster 740N has 600:1). Horizontal viewing angle is good on both monitors (178º at Samsung SyncMaster 244T and 160º at Samsung SyncMaster 740N) for watching movies. Vertical angle is 178º on SyncMaster 244T and 160 ºon SyncMaster 740N and those values makes them suitable for watching movies.

Only Samsung SyncMaster 244T has DVI input which allows you to connect it to some new video cards. Samsung SyncMaster 244T only has TV tuner.
