Samsung 920N vs Samsung SyncMaster 740N tft monitor review
We think that 920N has better screen with 19" inch size than SyncMaster 740N with its 17" large screen. Both of compared LCD monitors : Samsung 920N and Samsung SyncMaster 740N have the same maximum screen resolution (1280x1024). Both of compared monitors have decent pixel response times (8 ms). Picture on SyncMaster 740N could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for 920N (250cd/m2) Contrast ratio is very good on these tft monitors (920N has 700:1 and SyncMaster 740N has 600:1). Horizontal angle is 160º on both and therefore you might feel unconfortable watching movies on them. Vertical angle is 160º on both and therefore you might feel unconfortable watching movies on them. Both of these monitors have VGA input jack for connection to older video cards. These notebooks don't have DVI input so you cannot use them with newer video cards. More Information
