Samsung SyncMaster 930B vs Westinghouse LCM-19v5 lcd monitor review

The same 19" screen size is on both Samsung SyncMaster 930B and Westinghouse LCM-19v5. Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1280x1024.

Aspect ratio on these monitors is 4:3 and that means they aren't wide. Both of compared LCD monitors have decent pixel response times.

Picture can be really bright only at SyncMaster 930B (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at LCM-19v5 (luminance is 280 cd/m2). Only Samsung SyncMaster 930B has good contrast ratio (700:1). Westinghouse LCM-19v5 has contrast of 400:1.

DVI input which these monitors have allows you to use with new graphic cards.
