Samsung SyncMaster 930B vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 tft monitor review

Samsung SyncMaster 930B's monitor screen with 19" we like more than 17" screen at Westinghouse LCM-17V8. The same on both TFT monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1280x1024.

Both monitors aren't wide, the aspect on both is standard 4:3. Both of compared monitors have decent pixel response times (8 ms).

These monitors have brightness 300cd/m2 and that means they can have very bright picture. SyncMaster 930B has good contrast ratio (700:1) but that is not the case with LCM-17V8 (450:1).

Due to lack of VGA input, you cannot connect Westinghouse LCM-17V8 to older computers. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to new graphic cards.
