Samsung SyncMaster 244T vs Westinghouse LCM-19v5 tft monitor shopping comparison

We think that SyncMaster 244T has better screen with 24" inch size than LCM-19v5 with 19" large screen. Samsung SyncMaster 244T lcd monitor has better maximum screen resolution - 1920x1200, in contrast to 1280x1024 at Westinghouse LCM-19v5.

Since Samsung SyncMaster 244T maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with 25 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling text .

Since SyncMaster 244T has luminance 500cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than LCM-19v5 which has luminance 280cd/m2. Only Samsung SyncMaster 244T has good contrast ratio (1000:1). Westinghouse LCM-19v5 has contrast ratio of 400:1.

Presence of DVI allows you to connect these monitors to new graphic cards. Only SyncMaster 244T has TV tuner.
