Maximum declared screen resolution on SyncMaster 244T (1920x1200) beats LCM-19V7 (1280x1024). Since Samsung SyncMaster 244T maybe doesn't have good pixel response time with 25 perhaps you might notice some ghost when scrolling text . Since SyncMaster 244T has luminance 500cd/m2 and LCM-19V7 has luminance 300cd/m2, therefore we can conclude that both monitors are able to privide very bright picture . Only Samsung SyncMaster 244T has good contrast (1000:1). Westinghouse LCM-19V7 has contrast of 450:1. Only Samsung SyncMaster 244T has VGA input so you can connect it to older video cards.
