Samsung SyncMaster 203B vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 lcd monitor comparison
We liked 20" monitor on Samsung SyncMaster 203B significantly better than 17" monitor size at Westinghouse LCM-17V8.
With its declared 1400x1050 maximum resolution Samsung SyncMaster 203B monitor beats Westinghouse LCM-17V8 with 1280x1024.
Both monitors aren't wide, the aspect on both is standard 4:3.
Pixel response time on these monitors is 8ms and you should not expirience "ghosts" .
With its brightness of 300cd/m2 we can say that these TFT monitors can provide very bright picture.
Contrast ratio is 600:1 on Samsung SyncMaster 203B which is good. But Westinghouse LCM-17V8 has contrast ratio only 450:1.
Due to lack of VGA input, you cannot connect Westinghouse LCM-17V8 to older computers.
Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to modern graphic cards.
