Samsung 920N vs Westinghouse LCM-17V8 lcd monitor shopping review
Samsung 920N's monitor screen with 19" we like more than 17" screen at Westinghouse LCM-17V8. Both of compared TFT monitors : Samsung 920N and Westinghouse LCM-17V8 have the same maximum screen resolution (1280x1024). Pixel response time on monitors is 8ms and that means you should not expirience so called "ghosts" on them. Since LCM-17V8 has luminance 300cd/m2 it can produce much brighter picture than 920N which has luminance 250cd/m2. Contrast ratio is very good only on Samsung 920N (700:1), the another monitor has poor contrast (450:1). Disadvantage of Westinghouse LCM-17V8 is lack of VGA input for connection to some older graphic cards. DVI input which has Westinghouse LCM-17V8 is its adventage. More Information
