Samsung SyncMaster 970P vs ViewSonic VP2030b lcd monitor shopping reviews
We think that VP2030b has better screen with 20.1" inch size than SyncMaster 970P with its 19" large screen. For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1600x1200 on VP2030b might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on SyncMaster 970P. These monitors have decent response times . Picture on VP2030b could be very bright (300 cd/m2), but we cannot say the same for SyncMaster 970P (250cd/m2) Contrast ratio on both monitor is 1000:1 and that is good value. Horizontal viewing angle is decent on both monitors (178º at Samsung SyncMaster 970P and 170º at ViewSonic VP2030b) for watching movies. Vertical angle is 178º on SyncMaster 970P and 170 ºon VP2030b and those values makes them suitable for watching movies. Both of these monitors have DVI to connect them to newer graphic cards.
