Samsung SyncMaster 215TW vs ViewSonic VX2235wm tft monitor comparison

We think that VX2235wm has better screen with its 22" inch size than SyncMaster 215TW with its 21" large screen. Both tft monitors have maximum declared screen resolution 1680x1050.

These monitors are wide - they have aspect ratio 16:10. Both monitors have good response times (ViewSonic VX2235wm has 5ms and Samsung SyncMaster 215TW has 8ms pixel response time).

Only Samsung SyncMaster 215TW is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic VX2235wm has brightness 280 cd/m2. Contrast ratio is quite good on these tft monitors (SyncMaster 215TW has 1000:1 and VX2235wm has 700:1).
