Samsung SyncMaster 205BW vs ViewSonic VX2235wm tft monitor shopping review
We think 22 inch screen at ViewSonic VX2235wm is better than 20 inches screen size at SyncMaster 205BW. The same on both LCD monitors is maximum screen resolution - 1680x1050. Both LCD monitors are wide (16:10 is aspect ratio). These monitors have decent response times (with 5ms on VX2235wm and 6ms on SyncMaster 205BW). Only Samsung SyncMaster 205BW is able to produce very bright picture (300 cd/m2 luminance), ViewSonic VX2235wm has brightness 280 cd/m2. Both monitors have very good contrast ratio (VX2235wm has 700:1 and SyncMaster 205BW has 600:1). These LCD monitors are poor choice for watching tv programs or movies since they haven't decent horizontal viewing angles (VX2235wm has 170º and SyncMaster 205BW has 160º).
