Samsung SyncMaster 204BW vs ViewSonic VX924 lcd monitor shopping reviews

Screen size at Samsung SyncMaster 204BW is quite larger with its 20" than ViewSonic VX924 with 19". For people who likes higher screen resolutions, 1680x1050 on SyncMaster 204BW might be more preferable than 1280x1024 on VX924.

These monitors have good response times.

Picture can be really bright only at SyncMaster 204BW (luminance is 300 cd/m2) and it cannot be so bright at VX924 (luminance is 270 cd/m2). Contrast is very good only on Samsung SyncMaster 204BW (700:1), the another model has poor contrast ratio (550:1). Horizontal viewing angle is poor on both monitors (160º). Vertical angle is 160º on both and therefore you might feel unconfortable watching movies on them.
